A major regeneration project focussed on the Grade II Listed Hanworth Park House, in west London. The project includes regeneration of the derelict Hanworth Park House and the enabling development for 180 private and 120 affordable dwellings in the highly constrained surrounding green-belt parkland.
This was a contentious application which required the coordination of a large team of consultants and the inputs of many stakeholders including joint clients, local authority, GLA, Historic England and local community groups. Key to the success of this application was the protection of a large number of Grade A trees and a strong biodiversity/sustainability strategy.
